Albinos are recessive colour mutations that are simply lacking melanin or black pigmentation. The appearance of the boa is an overall white/yellow colour with orange/red saddles and tail markings. I work with the Sharp strain albino; these tend to retain their attractive orange colouration into adulthood better than the Kahl strain
